WE DID IT!!  Our collection was awarded “Canadian Makeup Artist of The Year” at the 2011 Mirror Awards in Toronto on March 26th. Thank you again to everyone who worked on this project to make it what it is!

This shoot features Chris Pritchard’s talents for dressing hair .  Chris partnered with wardrobe stylist Riley Lawson to create and style the  handmade paper dresses. This shoot brought Chris into the top 5 finalists for the Sask Hairdresser of The Year category for 2011. Kiriako Iatridis shot the images and I was the makeup artist on set.  Below the images you’ll find the behind the scenes video from this shoot.

For my first blog entry, I have great news! I was lucky enough to make it into the top five for the final round of the “Canadian Makeup Artist of The Year” category for The Mirror Awards 2011. So, myself and some of the creative team are off to Toronto at the end of March for the award gala. Below are the images that will be in the judging and also a behind the scenes video look at how we created it.
